We are seeking a Project Financial Control Officer to join our team! This role will provide financial planning, project cost control, and budget control by managing Capital Projects. It will work with Senior Project Financial Control Officers (SPFCOs) and Senior Cost Controllers to coordinate financial, contract and administrative functions. What will I be doing? Ensure coding of all transactions is correct and ensure that proper codes/tasks are set up in Oracle and other financial systems. Record Construction in Progress (CIP) capitalization, write-off and investigations. Develop, maintain and update budget and forecast requests, financial reports, and dashboards. Maintain balances and reconcile project accounts and records; prepare and maintain accurate project financial records and reports. Professional level accounting duties in support of assigned functional area such as accruals, cost allocation and explanation of variance incurred costs vs. budget/forecast. Gather, compile, interpret, analyze, record, track, and report financial data and transactions. Coordinate with other internal disciplines such as Commercial, Procurement, Capital Finance, Controllership, Contract Administrator, Project Controls and Project Delivery Teams (PDT). Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, process maps, and RACI for procedures and processes. Support cyclical financial deliverables including month-end, year-end, quarterly forecast, and annual audit requests. Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments.
