• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in software development, with a strong track record of designing and implementing complex applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python with experience in desktop application development using front-end and back-end development frameworks.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, data processing techniques, and machine learning algorithms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience with test automation tools and methodologies is highly desirable.
• Passion for innovation, technology, and continuous learning in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

As an Application Software Engineer, you will be working on products that focus on capturing, processing, and sharing data on body and motion. These products provide premium solutions for animation, human motion measurement, sports, healthcare, and industrial applications. Together with product management you help translate their product requirements into workable solutions and give estimates on the implementation effort.
You will be part of the Engineering team. This team is divided into four fields of expertise: Application Software Engineering, Embedded Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering and Quality Assurance. You will be working in an Agile/Scrum team, in which you will be developing applications and features for Movella’s product lines. You will be based in Enschede, the Netherlands.
