RFI Ingredients is seeking Part-Time Lab Technician for our Applications Team in Broomfield, CO. RFI Ingredients is an industry leading contract manufacturer of food and supplements.
The Applications Lab Technician assists Applications scientists and Project managers in Recosting calculation of existing products, sensory evaluation, powder testing and related lab work. The ideal candidate will manage a moderate to high throughput of projects while ensuring the production of precise and reliable data and results.
Part-time: 20 hours per week.

• Reports to the Applications Manager.
• Perform Re-costing of product when each PO received.
• Perform Sensory evaluation for qualification sample, change control sample, and new product.
• Perform Powder testing for qualification sample, change control sample, and new product.
• Collaborate with the Applications team to ensure lab readiness and upkeep:
• Scales and pH meter calibration
• Maintain equipment and supplies necessary for testing and development.
• Ensure the workspace is organized, clean, and conducive to productivity.Perform the Day start and end routine duties and keep records
• Follow established SOPs during all testing and evaluation processes and report deviations to management promptly.
• Use appropriate documentation and systems during the generation of technical data and results.
• Manage time efficiently to ensure product evaluation and development tasks are completed on schedule. Communicate any delays or challenges to management.
• Provide technical support to internal departments as needed.
• Other duties assigned by the Applications Manager or the VP of Applications and Quality.
