JOB SUMMARY
The position of Community Risk Reduction Coordinator (CRRC) / Fire Inspector is in the University of Michigan’s Division of Environment, Health, and Safety and within the Fire Safety Services department. Under the direction of the University Fire Marshal, the CRRC / Fire Inspector is responsible for the management of rising demands for proactive fire and life safety and injury prevention programs, while ensuring Fire Safety Services can continue to meet the University community’s service expectations. The CRRC / Fire Inspector position will also conduct inspections of university facilities to ensure compliance with local, state, federal, university and insurance regulations, and other duties assigned.
