REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideally you’ll hold a degree and/or equivalent combination of experience (drafting/design experience using AutoCAD/ AutoCAD Electrical in an Electrical and/or Controls and Instrumentation engineering environment).
• You’ll have experience in producing Controls and Instrumentation drawings complete with full BOM’s.
• Experience with control panel, wiring & drawings design.
• Experience in P&ID’s - desirable.
• You’ll possess strong time management skills and be confident in job prioritization.
• Assertive, confident and self-motivated.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Word / Excel / Adobe and all Web based systems for design completion.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Full valid UK driving licence required/
• Must live within 1-hour commutable distance to our Rutland Office, PE9 4AQ
• Location: On-Site
• Hours: 8:30am - 5pm

• Analyse and review as sold proposals, customer specifications/requirements in conjunction with the assigned Control Engineer to draft the required drawings for the application.
• Utilize AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical for the documents.
• Assist Controls Engineers to create the Bills Of Materials (BOM).
• Ensure all required drawings/documents are completed within required timescales and meet project and quality requirements.
• Assist with reviewing customer mark-up prints and disposition of comments.
• Attend workshop visits to assist with design changes as required per the project and to assist shop personnel with production of equipment.
• Produce as-built drawings and P&IDs.
• Ensure detail - check own and other Drafter drawings for accuracy.
