Description Position Summary The individual in this position performs a variety of data control functions to support the daily business activities of the firm such as general electronic and paper filing duties and related clerical duties. The Data Control Specialist follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Accuracy and attention to detail is required. FLSA Status: Non-exempt Requirements Major Duties and Responsibilities Electronically delivers various records and documents involved in the support and operation of providing accounting services to the firm’s clients Files paper documents as per designated filling system, copies documents as needed Retrieves records as requested, or provides information contained in the files, and maintains filing system Disposes of obsolete files in accordance with established retirement schedule or legal requirements Assembles tax returns, scans documents, and enters information into electronic tracking system Provides back-up support to administrative team Performs other duties as assigned Desired Skills, Abilities and Characteristics Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Zoom and other administrative software. Accounting software experience a plus.
