The therapist will accomplish this by (but not limited to) observing how people interact within units, diagnose and treat psychological disorders, guide clients through difficult life transitions, assist clients in resolving relational or behavioral problems, and help clients to replace dysfunctional behaviors with healthy alternatives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care). Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations, organizational policies, and insurance requirements. Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide crisis intervention when necessary. Coordinate care with psychiatrists, case managers, and other behavioral health professionals to ensure continuity of services. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ethical, and professional guidelines in all client interactions and documentation. Participate in case consultations, clinical supervision, and ongoing professional development as required. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures related to client care, confidentiality, and professional conduct. Client Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' strengths, needs, and challenges.
