Applicants with experience working for first-class hospitality organizations will be strongly considered. Job Summary A Host ensures that their guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued. They create a warm and welcoming environment for patrons from the moment they enter the establishment. Hosts typically provide menus, take names for reservations, and answers the phone. This is a full-time position offering a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k), and short- and long-term disability coverage. Must have open availability to work weekdays and occasional weekends. Shift schedules are 11:00AM - 4:00PM & 11:00AM - 9:00PM *3 shifts will be 11:00AM - 9:00PM *2 shifts will be 11:00AM - 4:00PM Host Functions: Attends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetings. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner. Greet guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcome. Seats guests and provides menus, following the appropriate rotation. Answers the phone politely and assists callers, including answering questions about the establishment and making reservations. Manages and confirms all Open Table reservations. Cater to the guests’ requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer service. Performs all assigned side work and keeps host stand and lobby area clean. Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct. Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management. Reports to the Restaurant Manager Requirements Must be at least 16 years old. Work Permit required under the age of 18 Must be authorized to work in the United States. Previous hosting experience is a plus. Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food, and beverage preparations as well as etiquette. Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules Available to work weekends, day and evening shifts and major holidays (Thanksgiving, Easter, & Mother's Day) Regular and predictable attendance. Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance. Must have reliable transportation.
