JOB SUMMARY The Mobile Integrated Healthcare Navigation Responder is located in the Emergency Medical Services Transport Division of the Fire Department within the City of Oklahoma City and is responsible for providing co-response interventions for behavioral health calls including by not limited to mental health crises and overdoses. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Manages incoming calls to the Crisis Call Diversion Center, 988 Dispatch and other referral sources and determines deployment of the Crisis Response Team, or other alternative response teams.  * Collects comprehensive information about a consumer's situation through interviews and other relevant sources, utilizing verbal de-escalation as needed to ensure effective engagement. * Conducts thorough trauma-informed assessments to determine behavioral health service needs and the level of treatment required. * Creates crisis stabilization and safety plans to facilitate an individual's safe integration within the community. * Offers individual short-term case management services including linkage, advocacy, and referral to foster ongoing stabilization resources. * Actively participates in continued care, with a commitment to ensuring social and/or familial support when appropriate and available. * Educates family members on mental health symptoms, treatment, and community resources. * Ensures timely processing of patient confidential health documentation as required by law. * Performs other duties as assigned.
