GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY As a member of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency Senior Leadership team, the Director, Human Resources is accountable for providing collaborative leadership and expertise in the development and evaluation of policies, procedures, programs and initiatives that support and advance the Agency’s mission, values, policies and strategic direction. These include human resource planning, recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, labour relations, talent management and performance, workforce planning, organizational change and effectiveness, training and development, and First Nations and Métis health and wellness, cultural responsiveness, and community partnerships. QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in administration (health administration, public administration or business administration/commerce) plus a minimum 10 years of relevant human resource experience, preferably dealing with professional and technical staff in a unionized health care organization. Experience in leadership development, organizational development, change management, and LEAN methodology is an asset.
