The Data Management Specialist is responsible for the processing of data entry requests coming from the Forecasting, Account Management and Product Teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: internal and external set-up of product offerings, production items, and merchandising displays. In addition, this role involves inter-departmental communication, as well as working with Finance to obtain appropriate approvals for external pricing. This role will develop and maintain an effective mutually beneficial relationship with Forecasting, Finance, Product & Account Management teams, to support and contribute towards the overall metrics, strategic goals and objectives. Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Communication & Coordination Collaborate with the various departments to ensure internal & external set-up of stores & products in time for appropriate arrivals, production, and shipping, etc. Ensure accuracy of internal item set up stemming from multiple types of requests. Exercise effective time management with accurate and up to date information. Provide timely updates on all commitments, ensuring that there are no surprises. Coordinate with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, and production with products. Manage documents and understand the terminology and how they interrelate with the business. Maintaining Records Provide timely updates in the company systems. Communicate to the right team members the current information. Special Projects Work with all departments to lead and participate in special projects as assigned.
