Overview As an Escrow Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Escrow Officer to ensure smooth and efficient transactions. This position is for our Park Cities office in Dallas, Texas. Duties Administrative Support: Assist Escrow Officer in preparing and organizing escrow files, receipt contracts/earnest money, open orders, order home warranties, order HOA documents, etc. Clearing of Title: Ability to read a title commitment, assist with any curative required to clear Schedule C including ordering payoffs, callings applicable parties, ordering and coordinating releases. Preparing CD/HUD: Ability to prepare preliminary CD/HUD and balance with lender. Schedule Management: Coordinate scheduling of closings and/or mobile notaries. Closing/Funding: Prepare title closing documents, send for funding, assist with balancing files and disbursement of funds including preparing outgoing wires and checks, record applicable documents, ability to package lender packages and other post-closing responsibilities. Customer Service: Be a primary point of contact for clients and real estate agents via email and phone, handling a significant portion of communications with professionalism and courtesy. Education High School diploma or equivalent. Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Escrow Assistant. SoftPro and SmartView experience.
