Description Position Summary: The Janitor 2 is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment through the facility. This role performs cleaning interior and exterior perimeters, break areas, restrooms, plant area and other assigned areas to ensure a comfortable and sanity workplace for all employees. Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and other interior areas. Preform duties of Janitor 1 when needed Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors. Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, windows, and other surfaces. Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners. Refill paper products, soap dispensers, and other supplies as needed. Running floor sweeper Clean and maintain the exterior perimeter of the facility, including Sweeping sidewalks, entrances, and parking lot areas. Removing litter, debris, and leaves from outdoor areas. Cleaning exterior windows and doors. Monitoring and clearing snow or ice during winter months, if applicable. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. May assist in setting up or cleaning after events or meetings as required. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Forklift knowledge Bilingual Preferred Minimum 1-2 years of janitorial or custodial experience. Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks indoors and outdoors. Good attention to detail and time management skills.
