One Key Resources, part of the Fircroft Group, is a specialist provider of Managed Workforce and Labour Hire solutions to the Mining, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure Industries. An employer of choice, One Key Resources employs Open Cut and Underground Operators, Tradespeople and Support Staff at close to 100 locations across Australia. Our client is a global leader in engineering, design and manufacturing technologies for the oil and gas industry. Working on both Onshore & Offshore as well as Subsea projects in some of the most remote locations in the world. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse officer / Yard Support to provide quality, customer focused warehousing services and to ensure the company’s inventory asset is kept secure and fit for purpose.

Responsibilities
  • Experience in Warehousing and Logistics
  • Experience working with Oracle - Desirable
  • Current Forklift ticket
  • Class C Driver’s license
  • Available on-call during the week for after hour load-outs when required.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform unloading, inspection, storing, picking, issuing, packing, labelling, loading and disposal of inventory items
  • Accept supplier deliveries checking actual items received are in a suitable condition and per the packing list and/or purchase order and reports discrepancies.
  • Ensures out-going inventory items are suitably packed and issued with correct and complete documentation.
  • Optimise warehouse bin locations to improve efficiency & safety.
  • Perform inventory cycle counting and supports in periodical physical counts.
  • Investigate and resolves local inventory & warehouse issues, as requested by supervisor.
  • Operate a forklift, or other materials handling equipment, on completion of training and certification.
  • Use computer terminal for data entry into Warehouse Management System
  • Perform accurate arithmetical calculations
  • When required, coordinate the ‘end-to-end’ delivery of emergency requirements
  • Available on the phone during on-call period in case of emergency rig requirements.
  • Able to come to the warehouse during on-call periods in order to coordinate the ‘end-to-end’ delivery of emergency requirements.
