This group servers the broader Operations Services & COO for RBC Capital Markets globally. Security Infrastructure: Design and maintain payment systems, networks, and infrastructure with security as the top priority, including policies and standards for secure handling, storage, and transmission. Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential weaknesses. Data Protection: Implement measures to prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or destruction of sensitive payment information. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards such as AML and SOX. System Maintenance: Ensure timely maintenance, updates, and upgrades of payment systems, software, and hardware for optimal performance and security. Monitoring and Reporting: Generate reports and metrics to monitor system performance, detect anomalies, and track risk and fraud indicators. Strategic Payments & Funding Technical Leadership: Lead development and execution of RBC's strategic payments methodologies, manage global stakeholders across asset types, identify business opportunities, and launch innovative solutions to grow market share and maintain competitive advantage. Back-end Development: Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot), Python and FastAPI for developing scalable, high-performance services. Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs and working with microservices architectures. Strong understanding of RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, ELK). Experience with messaging platforms like Solace, MQ, or similar technologies.
