Description
As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, manage supplier relationships, and optimize procurement processes. You will report directly to our Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager and work from our Lugoj, Romania location on a hybrid (3+2) schedule. Key Responsibilities * Manage and develop the supplier base for assigned components, ensuring high performance in delivery, quality, and cost efficiency. * Support EMEA HLS projects and coordinate procurement activities for allocated components. * Identify and onboard new suppliers (local and international), lead RFQs, evaluate proposals, and support supplier selection decisions. * Negotiate pricing, delivery, and contractual terms, and finalize supplier agreements. * Drive or support supply transfer initiatives to optimize cost and footprint. * Maintain accurate supplier data in MRP and OneSource systems and monitor supplier performance through KPIs and reporting. * Participate in supplier audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement. Key Skills and Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. * At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management. * Solid expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and contract management, with an understanding of market dynamics. * Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. * Experience supporting transitions involving engineering and production stakeholders is an advantage. * Fluent in English; strong data analysis skills (Excel, PowerPoint); SAP knowledge is a plus.
