IT components that interface with OT environments only under approved processes. Incident triage and escalation where IT services may impact operational systems. OT Awareness & Collaboration Work safely in proximity to OT systems and control environments. Understand IT/OT interaction points and operational criticality. Perform non‑intrusive checks (e.g. device status, basic connectivity verification) only when authorised. Escalate OT‑related issues promptly and accurately to OT owners or Technical Teams. Strictly follow site change controls, access restrictions, and safety protocols. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Communicate clearly with mine‑site users, supervisors, and operational staff. Build strong working relationships across multiple sites. Collaborate with DXC remote resolver groups to deliver consistent Managed Services outcomes. Provide professional, customer‑focused service aligned to DXC values. Operational Excellence & Asset Management Manage IT storerooms, stock levels, asset tracking, and audits. Coordinate logistics, delivery, and safe handling of IT equipment. Maintain disciplined ticket updates, reporting, and documentation. Health, Safety, Security & Environment Demonstrate a strong commitment to DXC Zero Harm and site safety standards. Comply with all mine‑site HSE requirements, inductions, permits, and PPE rules. Apply secure IT practices aligned to client and DXC security policies. Model safe behaviour in operational areas and when travelling between sites. Technical Skills & Experience Core IT Skills Strong troubleshooting experience across end‑user devices and peripherals. Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (switching, Wi‑Fi, VLANs, cabling). Experience with Windows OS; exposure to macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. Familiarity with endpoint management, monitoring, and remote support tools. Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals in operational environments. Interest in AI-enabled service management, automation, and productivity tools, including practical use of Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, scripting, or similar platforms to streamline IT support activities.
