The project focuses on building an independent, innovative software component that orchestrates data protection–related actions across multiple services. The internship is closely aligned with a HTL diploma thesis project and provides hands-on experience in modern cloud-native development, APIs, and compliance-driven system design. Key Responsibilities Design and implement a central GDPR Engine to orchestrate data protection processes across distributed microservices Develop RESTful APIs to trigger and manage GDPR-relevant actions (e.g., data deletion, anonymization, data access requests) Implement a configuration module to define and manage GDPR-relevant data across services Build integrations to simulate or connect multiple services and collect their responses Design and implement a basic web-based user interface (e.g., Angular) to visualize processing results and system status Implement audit logging and history tracking for all executed GDPR actions Collaborate on software architecture decisions and ensure clean, modular design Document the solution and contribute to the diploma thesis deliverables What do we expect?
