Trygga barn är en familje- och jourhemsverksamhet som tar emot placeringar av barn utsatta för olika typer av våld, allt från anknytningstrauma till akuta skyddsbehov. Barnen som placeras hos oss är i behov av att komma till en trygg och kärleksfull familj som står kvar vid barnets sida oavsett vad. Barnen som placeras hos oss kan uttrycka trauma och psykisk ohälsa på olika sätt, allt från självdestruktivt beteende, traumadiagnoser, otrygg anknytning och panikångest. Trygga Barn är den första familjehemsverksamheten i Sverige där alla barn som placeras hos oss får ett barnombud. Ett barnombud har sekretess mot familjehemmet för att tillgodose barnet god familjehemsvård och förhindra missförhållanden. Vi är också den första verksamheten i landet som har specialistkunskap om narcissistiskt våld och känslomässigt våld. I vår verksamhet utbildas alla familjehem utifrån certifierade utbildningar om olika typer av våld, barns känsloreaktioner vid våld, traumadiagnoser, psykosocialproblematik, barnkonventionen och mycket mer! Hos oss får alla familj kontinuerliga utbildningar, handledning samt avlastning i form av kontaktperson. Vi tar emot alla typer av familjekonstellationer, både kärnfamiljer, ensamstående, stjärnfamiljer, samkönade par och familjer som redan har barn eller inte har haft barn! Vi har som krav att barnet kan få ett eget sovrum oavsett om ni vill ta emot ett spädbarn. För oss är barns integritet viktigt. Om det krävs att du ska vara tjänsteledig så kommer vi kompensera dig för inkomstbortfallet. Alla sökande familjehem genomgår en familjehemsutredning för bedömning av lämplighet. Familjehem Ett familjehem är ett hem som ett barn kan bo hos under en kortare tid eller resten av uppväxten. Ett familjehem är en familj som kan erbjuda en stabil och trygg tillvaro för det placerade barnet. Familjehemmet har friheten att bestämma vilken målgrupp familjehemmet önskar att ta emot samt komplexiteten på ärendet. En av de viktigaste uppgifterna för ett familjehem är att samarbeta med verksamhetschef, barnet, ursprungsfamiljen, socialtjänsten och andra viktiga aktörer i barnets liv. Jourhem Ett jourhem är ett hem som kan ta emot ett barn med kort varsel, oftast akutplaceringar. Det kan exempelvis handla om ett barn som har blivit omedelbart omhändertaget på grund av att socialtjänsten har fått information om att det förekommer fysiskt våld i hemmet. För att bli jourhem behöver du kunna erbjuda en trygg person som kan vara hemma på heltid, en egen stabil situation, plats i hemmet, ha körkort och inte förekomma i något register. Vissa jourhem väljer att gå över till att bli familjehem om socialtjänsten bedömer att barnet ska vara familjehemsplacerat under en längre tid. Alla jour- och familjehem får arvode för uppdraget samt omvårdnadskostnader för det placerade barnet. För att kunna bli familjehem/jourhem hos oss behöver du inlämna belastningsregister, misstankeregister, socialregister, LOB register samt register från Försäkringskassan och Kronofogden. Vid behov kan familjehemsutredaren begära in andra intyg om det finns behov av det. Familjehemmet ska även kunna tillgodose barnet skolgång och kontakt med vårdinsatser vid behov. Familjehemmet ska erbjuda barnet ett eget rum till det placerade barnet under placeringen.
