EpicBiz Accounting is a leading Accounting and Bookkeeping Service Provider. With a team of highly qualified and experienced Accountants and Bookkeepers, the company assists with reaching financial and business goals. The company has a diverse range of clients from Finance, IT, Logistics, Construction, Hospitality and every other business in between.
Due to company growth, an excellent opportunity exists for an Accountant. The successful candidate will be joining a cohesive team based in Nunawading, Victoria and work with senior management to ensure the business continues to be compliant and operate efficiently and profitably.

Reporting to management, the Accountant will broadly be responsible for:

• Preparing annual budget and monthly forecasts.
• Accounts reconciliation.
• Preparation of BAS and income tax return.
• Preparation and review of end-of-month and end-of-financial-year reports.
• Review of the company’s revenue, operating costs, and cost of goods sold.
• Internal audits and compliance regarding company’s financial matters.
• Report to the Director to inform strategic planning.

Skills, qualifications and Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance, plus at least 1 year experience in a similar position.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Planning and Organisational skills, with ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
• Ability to work independently and in a team engaging with various internal and external stakeholders
