What you’ll do The Endpoint Engineering Architect will be a point of escalation and provide mentoring and coaching to engineers. The following provides an overview of the end user solutions which we are seeking competence in (but not limited to): A strong understanding of Enterprise endpoint management solutions (SCCM, Intune and JAMF ) A strong understanding of Microsoft Windows end user operating systems configuration and deployment A strong understanding of core Microsoft Supporting Infrastructure services (AD, Group Policy and users and computers) Experience with AvePoint baseline A good understanding of core Microsoft Supporting Infrastructure services (DHCP, DNS, PKI, Print Services, File Services, Exchange, SharePoint) Microsoft Windows end user operating systems configuration & deployment (in both traditional and modern management approaches). Endpoint security technologies (such as Microsoft’s Defender for Endpoint, Symantec, CrowdStrike) A strong understanding of VDI and DaaS solutions including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Amazon Workspaces, Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365. A strong can do attitude Working knowledge of Microsoft supplementing competitor solutions such as, Patch My PC , Aternity, Ivanti App Control and Airlock Digital. Public cloud exposure such as Azure and AWS as well as background in traditional on-premises hosting technologies (vCenter and/or Hyper-V) and supporting hybrid cloud technologies.
