You will form part of the business support team and support the business across our Australian footprint but also work closely with our US corporate accounting team. Reporting to the commercial manager your tasks will include: Process Supplier invoices: Accounts payable processing ensuring timely payment and accurate coding. Process customer invoices: Prepare accurate and timely invoices based on purchase orders, contracts, and service agreements. Data entry and verification: Input and verify data into accounting software, ensuring accuracy of customer information, quantities, pricing, and tax calculations. Maintain records: Organize and maintain electronic and paper filing systems for invoices and related documentation. Customer service: Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, answer questions clearly and professionally. Accounts receivable collections: Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on overdue payments, and coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve issues and expedite collections. Resolve discrepancies: Identify and research any inconsistencies in invoices, communicate with relevant departments to resolve issues. Reporting: Generate reports on invoicing activity and outstanding balances as needed. ERP: Mastery of invoicing and reporting withing the Workday system. Attend to internal and external auditors’ questions for information. Assistance across the organisation regarding finance and general administration where required. Work with our Commercial Manager to improve processes, systems and business productivity.
