Overview: Full-time, Fixed Term position until 10 November 2026 (Secondment Backfill) Salary HEW Level 9 ($135,978 - $145,693 p.a.) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University About the Role As the Student Lifecycle Manager, you will lead and inspire the Student Lifecycle Services (SLS) team to deliver efficient, high-quality student administration services across all STEM programs, delivery modes and locations. Your leadership will balance a strong focus on outcomes with a commitment to building a positive, supportive and collaborative team culture. You will set clear expectations, monitor performance against strategic and operational priorities, and provide coaching and feedback to drive excellence in service delivery. At the same time, you will foster an inclusive and engaging work environment where staff feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute their best, while actively encouraging cross-department collaboration to strengthen connections across the College and University. Central to your role will be guiding the team through cultural change and continuous improvement, embedding RMIT’s values and leadership standards in everyday practice. You will oversee professional development and workforce planning to build capability, resilience, and adaptability, while ensuring compliance and consistency across policies, systems, and processes. Through regular operational updates and leadership insights provided to the Associate Director, you will inform decision-making and advocate for both service excellence and the wellbeing of your team.
