ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

To help us achieve this we require a number of Wastewater Treatment Operators to work as part of the Water & Sewer Process team with the Community Utilities Division. This person must be a team player, a strong communicator and an analytical thinker. We are looking for team members that have a keen eye for detail, an enthusiastic approach to work and an understanding of systems and processes.
On a typical day our Wastewater Treatment Operators will:
To be successful in this role, you should have relevant experience in the wastewater or construction industry. A relevant trade qualification or a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators Certificate or Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (or in the process of obtaining) would also be desirable. Recent wastewater industry experience would be highly regarded. You will also display a working knowledge of obligations under the Work Health and Safety act, hold a class C drivers licence and be available for the out of hours on call roster.
