Coinbase is seeking an experienced backend engineer to join our team to build out the next generation of crypto-forward products and features. You will solve unique, large scale, highly complex technical problems, bridging the constraints posed by modern web/mobile applications and blockchain technology. You will help build the next generation of systems to make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone across the globe, operating real-time applications with high frequency, low latency updates, and managing the most secure, dockerized infrastructure running in the cloud. Join Coinbase’s Country Expansion team to influence the future of cryptocurrency adoption in Germany. Collaborate with the Country Director, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to customize the Coinbase experience, tailoring it to the German market and strategically shaping Coinbase’s presence through innovative features and a customer-first approach.

AI DISCLOSURE

For select roles, Coinbase is piloting an AI tool based on machine learning technologies to conduct initial screening interviews to qualified applicants. The tool simulates realistic interview scenarios and engages in dynamic conversation. A human recruiter will review your interview responses, provided in the form of a voice recording and/or transcript, to assess them against the qualifications and characteristics outlined in the job description.
For select roles, Coinbase is also piloting an AI interview intelligence platform to transcribe and summarize interview notes, allowing our interviewers to fully focus on you as the candidate.
