Description Position Summary: The HR Business Partner – Canada is responsible for delivering end-to-end HR support and payroll administration for Canadian operations. This role ensures compliance with provincial and federal regulations, manages employee lifecycle processes, and oversees benefits, payroll, and office administration. This position provides a key bridge point for the business unit to the larger organization. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to liaise with internal teams and external vendors to maintain accurate records and provide exceptional employee experience. Essential functions: Payroll Administration · Retrieve submitted and approved hours for payroll processing. · Calculate bonuses, commissions, and profit-sharing amounts. · Verify overtime compliance and accuracy. · Review and update PTO balances. · Transcribe hours and vacation days into payroll tables. · Enter payroll data into Employeur D system. · Prepare payroll journal entries in Business Central. RRSP Management · Export RRSP deduction reports. · Transcribe data into RRSP tables. · Submit contributions to Canada Life for processing and payment. Group Insurance Administration · Process salary changes and update insurance records. · Add or remove beneficiaries as needed. · Submit additional requests to the Chamber of Commerce. · Coordinate annual renewal of group insurance plans. Office Management · Organize and manage internal and external office events. · Arrange team meal bookings for specific events. · Handle internal mail distribution and shipping. · Communicate with building concierge and cleaning teams as needed. · Order office supplies, snacks, and beverages. Employee Lifecycle Management · Process onboarding and terminations for Canadian employees. · Maintain Employeur D system and provide HR reporting to management. · Liaison with employees and management to achieve CallTower strategic goals. · Raise employee and business unit concerns with HR Management. Compliance & Language Requirements · Liaise with OQLF and maintain certification. · Ensure HR documents, postings, and communications comply with language regulations. · Maintain company tools and information in accordance with OQLF standards. Recruiting · Maintain Canadian job postings. · Assist management in prescreening candidates. · Assist in scheduling interviews and round table discussions across CallTower’s recruiting cycle inside and outside business unit. · Participate in active recruiting efforts to drive candidate pool via LinkedIn and Indeed. Expense Reimbursement · Manage reimbursement tool and reporting in Business Central.
