In addition to these duties, janitors may also perform minor repairs, paint walls and furniture, and maintain outdoor areas. Janitors must be able to work independently and must be detail-oriented, as they are responsible for ensuring that all areas of the building are clean and in good condition. Reports to: Property Manager Position Type: Full-Time/ Non-Exempt Location: 649 Lofts- 649 Wall St, Los Angeles, CA 90014 Salary: $18-$20/hour Essential Functions of this position include but are not limited to: Rake or sweep gravel leaves and grass trimmings off sidewalks, paths, and other areas. Pick up debris, litter and trash including enclosed dumpster areas. Empties trash cans, Removes graffiti. May clean restrooms and laundry rooms Pick up, move, distribute, deliver, set up and disassemble a variety of equipment, parts, supplies, and furniture.
