Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily sales operations within the assigned territory and achieve sales, volume and distribution targets.
  • Lead, coach and motivate Sales Representatives to maximize productivity and target achievement.
  • Set individual sales targets and monitor performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Plan, optimize and monitor sales routes, customer coverage and territory allocation.
  • Ensure effective execution of the sales team route plan and make adjustments based on business requirements.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Monitor customer aging, collections and company assets, including follow-up for asset recovery from inactive customers.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities and provide actionable feedback and recommendations to the Sales Manager.
  • Monitor daily, weekly and monthly performance covering sales, distribution, route adherence, attendance, aging and assets.
  • Manage team attendance, schedules and field activities and provide regular feedback to management.
  • Address customer and sales-team issues and escalate critical matters to the Sales Manager.
  • Ensure timely delivery and service to customers.
  • Optimize sales operations to improve efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure team compliance with company policies, procedures, driving standards and code of conduct.
  • Drive achievement of revenue, market share and volume targets in line with department objectives.
