The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Operations Superintendent, the Operations Administrator is responsible for office management, preparation, data entry, and filing of Operations reporting, creation of communication materials, and inventory management. This position is located on site, at the Wolf Sturgeon Compressor Station which is approximately 25km northeast of Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
TERM: this is an 18-month temporary contract position.
Key Responsibilities

EDUCATION:

• Completion of a High School Diploma
• Related post-secondary education would be considered an asset

EXPERIENCE:

• 5-10 years of administrative experience
• Experience in field-based operations

SKILLS:

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft software applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and can manage many concurrent unrelated activities
• Challenge the status quo by identifying opportunities for process improvements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate dependability and adaptability to new assignments
• Share a positive and supportive attitude
• Work collaboratively with others in a team environment
• Possess a high level of ethics and adherence to code of conduct & confidentiality
• Assist Operations Superintendent with the preparation and delivery of written reports, correspondence, and documentation; with exceptional grammar, clarity, and structure to support board presentations
