Planner Scheduler Reporting to the Director of Operations (Northern Buildings Group), the Planner/Scheduler is responsible for working closely with the commercial and operations groups on planning, scheduling, forecasting, and schedule risk management. They will ensure the project schedule is effectively managed through the various phases of construction for the project. This role will be based out of the south Edmonton office. What You Will Be Working On What You Will Be Working On Lead baseline schedule development and maintenance effort. Validate baseline information Assist the Project Manager to update schedule on a weekly basis, by assessing actual work done in the field and analyze effort expended. Perform critical path analysis Provide analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues Assist in coordinating schedule inputs from all parts of the project Identify and analyze schedule variances and recommend associated corrective actions Assist the Project Manager to present the project schedule to the client Participate in the development of WBS and help ensure project coding is effectively used for all applications Expert ability to utilize drawings and specifications as a basis for structuring the project schedule Assist the Project Manager to measure progress and review the subcontractor’s progress.
