In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all unitholder activity and maintenance of unitholder records, in line with internal policies, client requirements and well as external regulatory requirements on behalf of various Investment and Insurance Companies that offer investments such as Mutual Funds, Pooled Funds and Segregated Funds. The role reports to the Manager Transaction Processing in Shareholder Services. Each Manager is responsible either for designated client groups or specific functions (such as Adjustments, Quality Control or Support) for which they are wholly accountable in terms of Services Level results. What will you do? Pre-screen, prepare and input all financial and various non-financial transactions by standard cut off times. Includes but is not limited to: account set-up; redemptions, purchases, switches, non-complex NIGOs, direct trade and wire order placement and settlement Monitor and clear Workflow/Capture items within Service Level Agreements(SLA) Apply all quality control procedures and conduct reconciliation and settlement of daily trades Daily deposits and cheque processes and message all accounts where unusual actions have occurred Audit Transactions, question procedures, suggest improvements to processes and give accurate feedback to team members to help reduce errors and ensure a high accuracy rate Communicate effectively with both internal and external client groups Work with Manager to update Desk Operating Procedures and other tasks as assigned.
