Das macht die Position aus: 

  • Eigenverantwortliche Bearbeitung von Schadenfällen im Bereich Marineversicherung, insbesondere Hull, Protection & Indemnity (P&I), Charterers Liability sowie Builders' Risk, und umfassende Betreuung unserer nationalen und internationalen Kunden während des gesamten Schadenprozesses. 
  • Steuerung und Management aktiver Schadenfälle von der Schadenmeldung bei den Versicherern bis zur abschließenden Regulierung, unter Einhaltung von Fristen und Qualitätsstandards. 
  • Koordination der Abläufe und Kommunikation zwischen Kunden, Versicherern sowie weiteren relevanten Beteiligten wie Gutachtern und Rechtsanwälten zur effizienten Abwicklung der Schadenfälle. 
  • Beratung und Vertretung der Kundeninteressen gegenüber den Versicherern, insbesondere bei der Durchsetzung von Versicherungsansprüchen, der Klärung von Deckungsfragen sowie der Führung von Regulierungs- und Vergleichsgesprächen. 
  • Analyse und Aufarbeitung komplexer Schadenfälle sowie deren deckungsrechtliche Bewertung zur fundierten Entscheidungsfindung. 
  • Einbringung von Erfahrungen aus der Schadenpraxis zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung unserer Marineversicherungsprodukte und Optimierung der internen Prozesse. 
  • Aufbau und Pflege enger Zusammenarbeit mit internen sowie externen Partnern zur Sicherstellung eines reibungslosen Schadenmanagements und bestmöglichen Kundenservices. 

Das macht Dich aus: 

  • Eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung zum Schifffahrtskaufmann / zur Schifffahrtskauffrau, zum Kaufmann/ zur Kauffrau für Versicherungen und Finanzen oder vergleichbare Ausbildung, als Quereinsteiger:in alternativ ein abgeschlossenes Studium – gerne mit einem maritimen Schwerpunkt 
  • Erste Berufserfahrung im Bereich der Marineversicherung insbesondere im Kasko- oder P & I Bereich 
  • Sehr gute Deutsch und Englischkenntnisse 
  • Du hast Freude daran, Dich den komplexen Herausforderungen unserer Kunden zu stellen und individuelle Lösungen zu erarbeiten 
  • Du arbeitest gerne im Team und schaust in diesem Zusammenhang über den Tellerrand Deines Arbeitsbereiches hinaus

Job Description


  • Efficiently undertake and co-ordinate all site administration duties on a project, providing admin support to management..
  • Manage K&M project SharePoint System – Coordination of project folders.
  • Manage and control all project information received using the appropriate software package/system and clients' portals, wherever possible.
  • Assist with site set up and wider responsibilities under the Project Management System.
  • Co-ordinate meetings, the collation of reports and the follow-up of actions.
  • Create and maintain a robust filing and archive system.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Company policies and ISO accreditations.
  • Maintain the site records – Weekly Progress Report
  • Assist the Health and Safety team in audit processes and to record safety documentations on Share Point
  • Liaise with Main contractor and sub-contractors Document Control or Site Admin on the provision of documentation.
  • Take an active role in setting up, implementing, managing and improving the document management process

Qualifications


  • Previous experience within a similar, on-site, administration role.
  • German speaking
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on a busy site/work environment.
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with the project team and wider professional team
  • Full drivers license
