About the job

Company Description Stepping Stones Financial Planning LLP is an independent financial services intermediary focused on delivering unbiased, client-centered financial advice. The firm believes that each client’s needs and objectives are unique, so it prioritizes tailor-made, personal service in every engagement. Its core values—honesty, reliability, integrity, and excellent service—shape both client relationships and internal culture. The team is regarded as central to the business, and the firm is committed to consistently high standards and an excellent customer experience for all clients. Applicants can expect to join a values-driven environment where quality service and professional development are encouraged.

Role Description The Client Services Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Leicestershire. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to financial planners and ensuring a smooth client journey from initial inquiry through ongoing service. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and processing client documentation, maintaining accurate records and databases, managing correspondence, and handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner. The role also involves coordinating appointments, supporting the production of reports and presentations, liaising with product providers, and following internal compliance procedures. The Client Services Administrator contributes directly to the firm’s commitment to excellent customer experience by responding promptly to client requests and supporting the wider team.

Qualifications

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, including accurate data entry, document management, and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional telephone manner and clear written communication.
  • Solid IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM or financial planning systems.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow processes, with an understanding of confidentiality and compliance requirements.
  • Customer service mindset, demonstrating empathy, patience, and a commitment to delivering a positive client experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing priorities and meeting deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Previous experience in financial services, professional services, or a client-facing administrative role is beneficial.
  • Relevant qualifications in business administration, finance, or a related field are an advantage, though equivalent experience will be considered.
