About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi As a Senior Fraud Investigator within ACC’s Fraud Prevention & Investigations team, you’ll play a vital role in protecting the integrity and sustainability of the ACC scheme. You’ll lead complex investigations into suspected external fraud and abuse, working independently and collaboratively to ensure allegations are addressed professionally, ethically, and in line with best practice. Reporting to the Lead Investigator, you’ll manage end-to-end investigations, from gathering evidence and conducting formal interviews, to preparing prosecution files and working alongside Crown Prosecutors. Your work will involve identifying patterns in fraudulent behaviour, contributing to fraud prevention initiatives, and supporting the education of others in investigative best practice. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to travel across New Zealand, sometimes at short notice, when needed.
