The Contracts and Governance Manager will lead a dedicated team to manage Risk, Contract Management and Projects Controls within the Centrica Power business, ensuring compliance with an agreed frameworks and reporting on performance and compliance. This role will support the development, negotiation, and oversight of commercial contracts across Centrica Power, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and strategic objectives. This role will also support governance processes across procurement, legal, and compliance functions, contributing to the delivery of major infrastructure and energy projects. This role will be based out of our UK Windsor office and offers hybrid working. About the role: Contract Management Support the business in the drafting, negotiating, and finalising commercial agreements including EPC, O&M, CfDs, PPAs, and intercompany contracts Liaise with internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Trading, Procurement, etc) to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation Maintain a contract management system with templates and frameworks for consistency and efficiency. Governance Oversight Develop and implement a governance frameworks including controls, templates, and reporting cadence across Centrica Power Support the end to end activities across Development, Commercial and Operations to ensure robust governance processes, including documentation and compliance tracking Ensure alignment with Centrica’s corporate governance standards and regulatory obligations. Risk & Compliance Develop and oversee a controls framework to manage development, operational, financial, compliance, and regulatory risks Support internal audits and readiness reviews for major projects Align with group function processes, including Investment Committee and Contracts Committee to ensure a seamless governance approach. Stakeholder Engagement Team management responsibility Collaborate with project teams, legal counsel, Procurement and external partners to ensure contractual clarity and performance monitoring Lead governance input for strategic initiatives such as Asset acquisition, Joint Venture partnerships and organic deployments.
