As a MySQL DBA at Ivy Partners, your responsibilities will include:

• Provide maintenance and support for Client Reporting Solution.
• Maintain database design/release documentation.
• Collaborate with product teams to enhance the data warehouse and client reporting solution.
• Profile server resource usage, optimize, and tweak as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production database issues.
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
• Work closely with engineering and DBA team to design and implement optimal solutions.
• Liaise with database programmers and IT project managers.
• Protect database from threats and unauthorized access.
• Ensure database backup is adequate and can be recovered in the event of data loss.
• Recommend changes and improvements for database protection.
• Create stored procedures for APIs.
• Design databases to serve the needs of front-end and back-end users.
• Maintain awareness of trends and developments in database administration.
• Monitor system’s performance and identify potential problems.

About You!

• Advanced ETL skills.
• Basic knowledge of PHP and .Net.
• Confirmed expertise in MySQL.
• Hybrid work model: 2 days/week at the office.
• Skill set includes: MySQL, ETL, PHP, .NET, plus troubleshooting and database administration.
