JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee our company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, handling VAT and WPS processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in a similar role (preferably in Fitout/Interiors industry)
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and WPS
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
• Excellent MS Excel skills and analytical abilities
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage
• Knowledge of project-based accounting and cost control

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
• Handle VAT filings, WPS processing, and payroll coordination
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely audits
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost analysis reports for management
• Assist in financial planning and analysis for decision-making
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial laws and company policies
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments for payment and billing matters
