JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Design Manager – Aluminum & Façade to lead our design department in delivering high-performance façade solutions. The ideal candidate will have robust technical expertise in aluminum and façade system engineering, with proven experience managing the full design cycle — from concept through to execution. This role requires close coordination with project stakeholders and a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:1. Design Leadership & Management

• Lead the façade design team across multiple concurrent projects.
• Review, validate, and approve technical drawings and design submissions.
• Offer expert guidance on system design, material selection, and constructability.

1. Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate façade systems within the architectural and structural frameworks.
• Participate in design meetings, ensuring all client and consultant requirements are addressed.
• Provide ongoing technical support to project execution teams.

1. Technical Documentation

• Supervise the preparation of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation layouts.
• Ensure design deliverables comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Maintain design documentation standards, templates, and libraries of technical submittals.

1. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Research and implement new materials, systems, and design methodologies.
• Lead initiatives to improve design quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay current with industry trends, façade engineering technologies, and sustainable design practices.

1. Team Development

• Mentor and support the development of junior designers and draftsmen.
• Conduct design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and assess technical performance.
• Foster a culture of creativity, technical excellence, and continuous learning within the design team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 10–15 years of experience in façade and aluminum system design, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of working on high-rise, commercial, or landmark façade projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or other 3D modeling/design software.
• Strong understanding of structural principles, thermal performance, and material behavior in façade systems.
• Excellent leadership, project coordination, and communication skills.
