Job Title: Microbiologist
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Microbiologist with prior experience in a CAP-certified laboratory in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing microbiological testing, ensuring compliance with CAP/CLIA standards, and supporting continuous quality improvement in the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform culture, sensitivity, and identification of microorganisms according to standard protocols.
Conduct and interpret molecular and serological microbiology assays (if applicable).
Maintain and review quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) records in compliance with CAP requirements.
Participate in CAP inspections, audits, and proficiency testing (PT) cycles.
Ensure proper documentation, safety, and biosafety practices are followed.
Provide technical support and training to junior staff.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology / Medical Laboratory Sciences.
Previous experience working in a CAP-accredited laboratory in the UAE (mandatory).
Valid DHA license or eligibility.
Strong knowledge of CAP standards and molecular diagnostic techniques is preferred.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
