This one-year placement role is for architectural students (pre-Masters or equivalent) who are studying toward their UK Part 2 or equivalent and are required to complete one year in practice as part of their education. The placement will begin in September 2025 and run for one year on a full time, 5 day a week basis working in person from our central London studio.

Responsibilities
As part of our team you will produce 2D and 3D drawings, illustration material for client presentations, work in our physical model shop, and play an active part in the design development on project teams taking on a variety of tasks and moving between projects as required. You will demonstrate the ability to convey your creative ideas effectively using a variety of design tools including hand drawing, Photoshop and InDesign diagrams, producing good digital images, CAD drawings with ArchiCAD and Rhino, and constructing physical architectural models.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, with some knowledge of a 3D modelling programme (preferably ArchiCAD or Rhino). We understand that architectural students come with varying levels of software proficiency, and we provide comprehensive training to develop your technical skills further. You will need to be ready and open to work across projects and learn different software. Physical model making and hand drawing skills are also a plus.
Personal qualities
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, confident and a strong communicator. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player with a positive attitude who is passionate about design and problem solving. You will gain a variety of experiences so need to be flexible, and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
