United Infrastructure Transmission and Distribution is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial area of our growing business! As a leading provider of engineering and construction services to the UK transmission and distribution sector, we are at the forefront of net zero 2050 with a secured workstream for years to come. This is a site based role based in Argyll, Scotland. This role is perfect for an established and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor from a civils/ infrastructure or construction background, although not essential, with a wide range of projects under their belt who is looking for a new high profile challenge. The successful candidate will be experienced in cost & change control, contract & subcontract administration, and project reporting; and will be assigned to a contract with SSE who are a client. There will be opportunity for future progression and to work on further Scotland based transmission and distribution projects thereafter. Sound commercial judgement, flexibility, the ability to collaborate with others via MS Teams and travel to sites across Scotland is key. You will provide commercial support concerning financial and contractual matters arising through the management of our client project. This role involves post award contract administration, provision of commercial/ contract deliverables, implementation of project plans; undertaking costs analysis, preparation of cashflow forecasts, developing subcontracting commercial strategy as required; contributing to internal project reviews and developing project forecasts.
