REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• B.S. or at least of 2-years college experience in the fields of Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on laboratory Experience in bioanalytical methods for small and/or large molecules, in a research or clinical setting is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies is expected.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating initiative, responsibility, and effective communication in collaborative environments.
• Strong attention to detail and a goal-driven mindset, with a commitment to maintaining high data quality and meeting project timelines.
• Experience in documenting experimental protocols, maintaining lab records, and preparing technical reports to support transparency, reproducibility, and regulatory compliance.

• Perform mass spectrometry (MS) laboratory activities, including sample preparation and extraction of metabolites, lipids, and proteins from diverse biological materials such as human saliva, plasma, urine, feces, blood, and various tissues. Ensure consistency, reproducibility, and quality control across all processed sample types.
• Receive training in standard sequencing pipelines and apply learned methods to improve daily operational efficiency, data reproducibility, and overall lab performance.
• Help keep track of inventory and coordinate procurement for daily lab consumables, reagents, and equipment, maintaining smooth lab operations and avoiding disruptions due to supply shortages.
• Help improve standard workflows in proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics by optimizing protocols, to ensure high-quality, reproducible, and publication-grade data.
• Perform routine maintenance of instrumentation.
• Contribute to the automation of MS workflow in collaboration with other units to enhance the operational efficiency of the lab
• Communicate regularly with team members and supervisors, providing updates on workflow status, troubleshooting outcomes, and quality metrics to support collaborative decision-making.
• Maintain detailed documentation of lab protocols and experimental workflows, ensuring traceability, transparency, and compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
