POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, is responsible for all data entry, clerical and court support duties, and counter service, on a rotational basis, for matters received in relation to the Provincial Offences Act. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs customer service requirements, and cashier functions in relation to Provincial Offences matters Municipal, Provincial Land Tax Administration, and TBayTel accounts and services. Performs all Provincial Offences court administration and clerical support including receiving and sorting incoming mail, scheduling of court dates, data entry, attend in town and out of town court as the clerk of the court; process, transfer and accept appeals and transcription. Signs, processes and files all POA documentation in accordance with the established rules, regulations and guidelines. Prepares, maintains and manages POA court dockets. Performs bookkeeping functions in relation to the POA. Processes and balances receipts received over the counter and by mail. Provides back up for Payment Processing Clerk during peak periods and absences. Performs such other related duties as may be assigned.
