One Key Resources are currently recruiting for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics in the South Island of New Zealand, for a unique opportunity to work and live in one of the most beautiful places the world has to offer & close to Queenstown!!!
These positions are a rare opportunity to go directly permanent with the client – one of the world’s fastest growing international mining organisations & working in one of the most beautiful parts of the world!!!

Reporting to Management, the Heavy Diesel Mechanics will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team of qualified trades people as well as the following:

  • Ongoing maintenance and service of Mining Equipment and Machines;
  • Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with Company guidelines and within cost targets;
  • Providing support to the rental fleet as required; and
  • Working with customers to meet company objectives.

We are looking for:

  • A strong commitment to safety;
  • HD Mechanic Trade Qualification with Mining experience
  • Strong analytical skills with and solutions focus;
  • Ability to work as part of a cohesive team;

Role requirements:

  • Mining experience as a HD Diesel Mechanic having worked on the following:
  • Trucks
  • Dozers
  • Excavators
  • Graders

The qualifications/certificates required include:

  • Trade Certificate;
  • Current Drivers Licence;
  • Proof of Australian or New Zealand working entitlement (e.g. birth certificate, passport or citizenship);
