Salary: AUD 108571– 119893 (Annual Gross)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deliver Quality outcomes for projects through analysis, planning, creation and execution of Test scenarios, cases and procedures.
• Ensure Testing Methodologies are adhered to throughout the SDLC.
• Provide detailed testing estimates for each project phase.
• Analysing business requirements for manual and automation development projects including traceability matrix, master planning of business scenarios, software review/ reliability analysis.
• Onshore Lead responsible for delivery of Application functionalities with end to end testing services of the project life cycle.
• Involved in generating daily, for the entire project by scheduling and chairing meetings.
• Liaise with business users, business analysts and developers to ensure that planned testing meets their requirements.
• Acquire and analyse all relevant documents for assigned projects to determine testing requirements.
• Consult on testing matters to business and IT project managers.
• Track progress of allocated test designs and test cases to ensure testing deadlines are adhered to
• Hold workshops to aid the sign off of testing deliverables and ensure stakeholders are kept informed of testing progress.
• Monitor defects outstanding and escalate in accordance with set procedures.
• Chair project test team meetings to discuss risks/issues and testing progress.

Skills and Competencies:
Responsible for leading the Allianz Data & Reporting Testing projects which includes test delivery of projects. Work with Program Test Manager to develop Test Strategies, Test Plans and act as a point of contact for Testing deliverables on a daily basis. Manages a small team of test analysts for testing delivery for a program or a project.

• SQL scripting and execution. Hadoop technology
• Data base/ETL automation using Python or any other market leading tools or frameworks
• APACHE SPARK, AWS, CLOUD, S3 and Redshift, Hadoop
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Execution of test cases
• Assist in writing test plans for different phases of testing throughout the SDLC
• Liaise with business users, business analysts and developers to ensure that any assigned defects are resolved
• Identify project risks and/or issue
• Defect Root Cause Analysis
• Ensure all assigned testing deliverables timelines are met
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement programs
• Business intelligence and Data warehouse testing experience in Hadoop Data Hub environment
• Writing SQL queries and testing data flow across the data layers
• Testing data quality, data integrity, data reconciliation and reporting solutions
• Understanding on Data warehouse data models and creating test scenarios and cases
• Experience in working with Agile teams
• Experience in continuous integration and test automation with relevant tools
• Insurance experience

• Verbal and written communication skills

Essential:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

Preferred:

• Insurance domain experience
