Zero-Max is currently recruiting for a Maintenance and Tool Room Manager is responsible for all building and equipment improvements and maintenance. Designs, builds, and maintains required tooling and fixtures for production machining of all Zero-Max products; manages Tool Room and Maintenance employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Machine Shop Plan, coordinate, and schedule all preventative maintenance and repair activities Analyze, diagnose, and repair CNC equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Plan and oversee all installation activities Analyze and diagnose machining and tooling issues Oversee and support TIG welding of products Perform TIG welding in absence of welder Ensure that safety program and initiatives are followed and recommend changes to ensure safety Tool Room Design and build tools and fixtures for production machining Coordinate the machining and construction of tools, gauges, fixtures, etc. Check tools to ensure that precision standards are met. Requisition of the purchase of small tooling requirements.
