We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to be a part of our team in Clark, New Jersey, United States. This role functions in the industry of commercial bankruptcy law and involves managing commercial collection files, drafting legal documents, e-filing in court systems, and interacting with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize commercial collection files
• Draft basic legal documents as required
• E-file documents in the New Jersey and New York court systems
• Communicate effectively with clients and handle their inquiries
• Utilize skills in Calendar Management to keep track of deadlines and appointments
• Ensure all customer records are maintained accurately
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a paralegal role.
• Proficient in calendar management, able to schedule and track appointments seamlessly.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal terminology and principles.
• Experience in conducting comprehensive legal research.
• Proficient in using legal databases and software.
• Ability to draft and review legal documents.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field required.
• Paralegal certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in case management.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling legal documents and information.
