In this role, you'll provide guests with friendly and professional service, excellent food quality, strong price value, and consistency of execution in an attractive, well-maintained environment. Create and develop an annual marketing plan to penetrate new sales opportunities and improve use within existing markets. Further responsibilities include staff development objectives and meeting financial goals. SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: * Develop a selection and pricing strategy of all liquors and wines, and supervision of their procurement. * Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and coach employees; address complaints and problem solve. * Communicate with the management, employee, and accounting staffs, identifying attractive and developed staff and provide the necessary training as positions open. * Help fill any open positions with applicants who are qualified and understand the standards required of them. * Participate in and facilitate new server, busser, barista, and bartender training programs as well as ongoing development programs, seminars. * Evaluate restaurant service performance daily. * Facilitate quarterly Kimpton Check-Ins with employees. * Work with the Executive Chef to provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to the guests. * Evaluate food product, kitchen employee performance, and development of product consistent with our market position. * Participate in helping the General Manager create the financial objectives of the restaurant on an annual basis through the budget process. * Help meet budget in all areas of cost control with consistent focus on cost of sales and payroll.
