This is how we are shaping the future of media. We’ve changed the way we work to create a flexible, collaborative, learning-led culture that draws on expertise from across the organisation to create award-winning content and cultural moments that engage audiences to be part of our communities. ROLE SUMMARY Job Title: Product Marketing Manager Responsible to: Chief Commercial Officer Organisation: Brightsolid (a DC Thomson brand) Location: United Kingdom Ways of Working: Hybrid (This is a predominantly home-based role with approximately one visit per month to our Dundee office.) Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover) ABOUT BRIGHTSOLID We are a high-growth Managed Service Provider (MSP) with a strong reputation across Scotland and an expanding presence across the UK. With data centres in Dundee and Aberdeen, we’re recognised as one of Scotland’s leading IT brands. Our portfolio has evolved to include public cloud, backup-as-a-service, cybersecurity, colocation, networking, and private cloud solutions. In April, we accelerated our growth by acquiring Synergi, a Newcastle-based Microsoft specialist. This strategic move expanded our consulting capabilities, strengthened our Microsoft offering, and added 60 experts to the Brightsolid team. As our Product Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our product marketing strategy. You’ll help us better understand our customers and prospects, ensuring our services meet their evolving needs in a competitive market. This is a dynamic, high-impact role with real ownership and visibility across the business. Your ability to use data for insight, storytelling, and decision-making will be key to driving growth and differentiation. What we're offering As well as a competitive remuneration and benefits package, we’ll give you the freedom to do what you do best and all the tools and support you need to succeed. We have an open, empowering culture and you will be a key part of a very dynamic sales and marketing team. Go-To-Market (GTM): Develop and implement go to market strategies for Brightsolid’s products and services. Sales: Provide ongoing support for the sales team, including messaging guidance, collateral (leaflets, slide decks, eBooks, proposals), battlecards and support to accelerate opportunities through the pipeline. Performance Reporting: Track and report on effectiveness of go-to-market efforts, sales enablement support and campaign performance and share insights with key stakeholders regularly. Market Insights: Gather market intelligence across key industries and stakeholder groups to identify trends, drivers, pain points and opportunities by Brightsolid’s key verticals and by persona, with insights used to inform product positioning, messaging, sales enablement and GTM strategy. Partner Solutions: Work with technology partners to align Brightsolid solutions with partner solutions. Support with joint go-to-market activities, ensuring Brightsolid’s messaging complements partner positioning and support on creation of co-branded collateral or enablement materials, where appropriate. About you You’re a strategic product marketer with a passion for technology and a knack for turning complexity into clarity. You may come from a tech background, but what sets you apart is your ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with customers and drive commercial impact. You thrive on data, using it to uncover insights, guide decision-making, and shape go-to-market strategies. You’re curious, analytical, and confident in your ability to translate technical solutions into digestible, engaging content. Collaboration is second nature to you.
