AK Impex is an established manufacturing and design business with offices in London and India suppling retailers in the UK and the Scandinavian market. We pride ourselves with our strong sourcing, developing skills being able to tailor ranges to our customers’ needs.
AK Impex is now looking for a vibrant, passionate, Merchandiser/ Junior Merchandiser who has experience in the garment supply side / or retail buying. You will be responsible for follow up with Buyers and vendors for production in running , and contributing to product development, ensuring customer satisfaction while also collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Extra bonus would be if you have woven product experience (dresses, blouses, skirts etc), however this is not necessary.
The candidate will be an important addition to the company who’s headquarters are in West London with India production.
You will be working across all the key accounts, with the opportunity to be involved in most aspects of the business, whilst providing administrative and creative support to the senior team members in a fast-paced business.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

· A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a similar Account Manager role.

· Preferably worked within a fashion supplier - industry knowledge

• Proven experience in merchandising and account management within the fashion industry.
• Strong understanding of the fashion market, including trends and competitor activity.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs & other necessary software/technology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Tech packs, BOM and Spec Sheets
• Adobe, Photoshop/Illustrator
